The source of the list might surprise you, but what's important is to prompt the money conversation with your lover and potential mate.
[...] So we talked about it...we had a money conversation... I undoubtedly introduced the topic. I've never had a problem with talking about money and setting expectations, so I'm sure I'm the one that said, "How do you want to split the costs of the weekend?" That sounds so dreadfully dull but trust me, after three months of suggestive phone calls, I guarantee the conversation that night ended with our version of "what are you wearing?" after we put the business issues to bed.
[...] Nina presents Money as a Second Language posted at Queercents saying, “When you're dating someone, how do learn about each other's philosophy with personal finances?
You make some excellent points. I'm very lucky that my wife and I have similar views on money. I don't remember how much we really talked about it back when we were dating, but I agree that it's one of the most important points of compatibility that a couple should consider pretty early on in a relationship.

That's a great list of questions, too, and they really are relevant to figuring out how similar your core views are!
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

So far, money is a second language and Chase's philosophy is akin to ancient Greek wisdom. Let's get it over with and just set up the throne. Money's god.
