		<description>Regarding the shopping list: Tim Harford suggested that one should avoid shopping with a definitive list, and rather come up with creative meals from the cheapest stuff you can find. He said that he knows he is going to spend a lot of money on groceries if his wife sends him to the market with a list, because sometimes your options are limited (i.e. there might not be any cheap creme fraiche available). So he said that we need to learn to buy stuff that is the most affordable and construct good meals from that.

Or maybe he didn&#039;t say that last bit and I just inferred it. I&#039;m a good inferrer.

I just blogged about the lower rate from credit card companies.
