		<description>This is but another symptom of many (inadequate education, skyrocketing healthcare to name some others) that ail our country.  I am agree with the author, but I think a small part of this savings decline is due to a change on the population pyramid. More Baby boomers are entering to retirement and they are spending their saving (they have been saved before 1980).
