It makes me very mad when companies hire someone for 30 hours a week in order to call this employee a part time employee. Health Insurance is extremely expensive for individuals to buy...I know, it costs my family $1400 per month to pay for health insurance...I am not in the situation that you write about (I am self-employed), but in the same situation with the health insurance.
