actually i just wanted to know if someone who wouldn't mind answering a few questions that i have. My girl friend and i are going to go through this process in the near future but i have some questions first that i havent been able to find enough or no information on. thank you for taking the time to read this. For those who hadn't heard my good news ( I respond here enough to feel like one of the gang) - my partner & I now have our 4th child. He is now one week old. I am still working full time while my partner is the "stay at home" Mom. I will be taking family leave in a few weeks though to help with the end of school, transition into summer with 2 school agers, a toddler, and a baby not likely to be sleeping more than 3-4 hours at a time. This is what emergency funds are for (since family leave time is unpaid). Older siblings adjusting beautifully; two moms doing okay-- if only because of the additional lack of sleep involved. All of our kidlets have come thru our county social services. We absolutely could not have afforded the family of our chosen size any other way.

Amen to everything you -- and everyone else -- said. The TTC journey is so stressful, and so expensive, and such a roller-coaster, it's amazing couples survive it. Especially when you add in all the hormone induced emotional chaos. I'm sorry you are having a hard time. My fingers are crossed that your wait won't be much longer.
