All I need is the perfect IVF mum who will conceive my child using IVF treatment method. Someone who also desires to have a child and would be interested in pregnancy via IVF. Nearly two years later, I've spent more than that on 18 attempts (and two miscarriages). I'm now starting IVF. (I have fantastic insurance, so I'm incredibly fortunate not to have to consider finances when opting for IVF.) A friend who did IVF calls it "the best $20,000 I ever spent." Another said she would have spent $45K per try -- as opposed to $15K -- if she'd been guaranteed it will work. The heart is a funny thing.
