The trip was to a conference at a fabulous resort hotel in Berkeley, which also had an expensive high-end day spa. But you know what? My only day spa adventure so far was courtesy of a gift voucher, the very best part was the caldarium. Even though I enjoyed my day at the spa, I've never really considered spending my own money at one.
