My partner and I have a lake property that we have for sale. It has been on the market for a couple of months now. We wanted to be able to enjoy it, but after we fixed it up our neighbor went homophobic on us. It was not a comfortable place to be. Anytime we pulled in he would scream obscenities. The police said that there was nothing we could do and advised us to put up a fence. We just decided to sell it. We are also rehabbing another lake property, this one we intend to move into. Actually I'm waiting for a prospective tenant for our current house. She should be here in about an hour. You are right, you need to plan for these situations, fortunatly my partner and I have become pretty good at planning.
