I have been remembering (finally) to bring my coffee and lunch with me during the day and (for the first time) actually remembered to bring a little extra food to work if I was meeting up with people after work for stuff that didn't involve eating. My main cost savings really has been from cooking/grocery shopping lately. Cant spend a $1.25 on a diet coke cause i dont have it. Cant buy a $1 Mega millions ticket cause I dont have it... By the time you're forty, you won't need to worry about wasting money on 'affordable luxuries'... you will be able to afford plenty of luxury by then and I'm sure you will look back on your early twenties with pride and a smile about that well stocked underwear drawer.
