It's very gratifying to see some of the hard work pay off, even if it's only 20 bucks. I'm feeling the same thing by actually having a little extra cash at the end of the month that I can use as an extra debt repayment payment because I'm trying to be diligent on my discretionary spending. I try to only take out the plastic for gas for the car, and I've been somewhat successful with that. Definitely look back at moments like this, when you realize that, despite the small amounts you're saving and the big hiccups you encounter along the way, you're improving every step of the way.
