Queercents seeks video blogger
Apparently, Queercents is behind the times. We need video! Are there any Gen Y-ers out there that want to contribute to Queercents by vlogging about money? It can even be in the vein of the Davey Wavey’s half-naked webcasts. Actually, half-naked is probably preferred – especially if you look anything like Davey Wavey – after all, that’s good for traffic.
We’re behind the times… perhaps it’s because this fearless leader is in her forties, a self-described late adopter, doesn’t have a Facebook account and even wore “mom jeans” until meeting Jeanine six years ago (when I was told to cleanse my closet of anything labeled Nordstrom’s Classiques!).
Queercents needs to get with it. Does anyone want to take us there!? If so, send an email to: nina [at] queercents [dot] com and tell me why. And since millennials are known to have an aversion to long-term commitments; the series can be short and sweet – perhaps 5 or 6 segments about paying down your student loans, managing credit card debt or how you have learned to live with your means. I’m open to anything cool… because, um, I’m not. Webcam? What’s that?
