		<description>Great post, Paula.  It&#039;s son interesting that you bring this up, because last week Diane Rehm was interviewing an author who was encouraging people to take more risks.  For some people that can mean getting your ears pierced, and for some it can be as radical as going sky diving.  But she took a big risk by writing a nonfiction book when all of her previous experience was in fiction, and she says that risk has carried over into other areas of her life.  

One thing that really hit home for me was her statement that love is a risk.  I couldn&#039;t agree with her more.

As for what you&#039;re talking about in terms of the work place, I think a lot of people go along to get along.
