Lisa Spinelli QueercentsLisa Spinelli has been a 50 year old blogging baby boomer for over a year now. She started her site, “Greener Pastures: Responsible Personal Finance,” on Blogger in January, 2008.   It wasn’t long before she became quite obsessed with it, and decided to make the switch over to WordPress/DreamHost in March, 2008.

Frugality, Personal Finance, left-winger Politics, and Sustainability are long time interests of Lisa, and you’ll find many articles about each of these topics on her site.   She blogs to interact with others that are working to create a stable, secure life financially – without compromising important values.

She’s been happily married for almost two years now, to Pamela (you’ve gotta love Massachusetts!)   She has two, absolutely primo, highly spirited, highly intelligent “just-turned-adult” step-daughters, and two rambunctious dogs who together weigh no more than 20 lbs., Pete and Babette.

She lives about an hour north of Boston, in a small coastal resort town close to the New Hampshire border.

In her off hours, Lisa spends time blogging – what else?!, walking her dogs, reading on the beach, gardening, and drinking lots of coffee at the downtown Starbucks.

She works in the biotechnology industry as a technical service specialist.

Other Interests include the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, Psychology, Fair Trade, and the global economy.
