Rich Taylor QueercentsRich is an executive at a global commodities firm, in charge of the corporation’s education division. He speaks frequently at conferences and institutes and has been featured in trade journals like Chief Learning Officer and Training Magazine.

Rich grew up in a lower class family struggling to get by financially, and even after academic and corporate success, he strongly identifies as ‘blue collar’ and knows very well what it’s like to worry about debt and financial security. Now Rich is all about budgeting, saving, and planning.

Having lived in Bihar (the poorest state in India) as part of his academic training, he has also seen up close what deep poverty and suffering look like. So Rich is involved with Habitat for Humanity and the micro-loan movement that helps poor people in developing countries build their own small businesses and raise themselves out of poverty.

Rich and his partner Rob live in the Midwest, raising a niece and caring for a parent. Fun things include homemade gourmet meals (Rob went to culinary school), hanging out by the pool, long walks around a nearby lake, and living simply, that others may simply live.
