Money can buy a certain amount happiness… learn more at The Happiness Project
I’ve made some wonderful friends in the blogosphere over the last couple of years. A number of people I’ve met in real life, while other connections have simply been nurtured online. I met Gretchen Rubin at The Happiness Project through an introduction from Marci Alboher. I learned about Marci through Penelope Trunk. I met Penelope when I reviewed her book back in 2007. Since then, Penelope has introduced me to numerous others (although I doubt she’ll be introducing me to Tim Ferriss anytime soon). The career and money blogosphere has exposed me to many new people and ideas… and meaningful connections have always made me happy!
So I’m glad I met Gretchen and was flattered when she asked if I would participate in one of her famous happiness interviews. Of course, the conversation turned to how money influences happiness; and as many of you know, I think money can make a difference in one’s happiness.
So check out the interview and while you’re there, subscribe to her blog where she reports regularly on what works and what doesn’t when it comes to happiness.
Great interview! I was lucky to meet both Gretchen and Marci on the same day back in 2007.
