Adam NelsonWe have a new contributing writer at Queercents! Adam Nelson joins us from Madison, Wisconsin where he’ll graduate from the University of Wisconsin with a law degree in 2008. I’m very excited to finally have someone “represent” from the Midwest since the rest of us are coastal.

In addition to attending law school, Adam recently founded Treading Together LLC a professional speaker bureau, consulting, and event management services firm. As a small business owner and twenty-something budgeter, writing for Queercents will give him an opportunity to share his experiences.

Shortly, he will introduce the bi-weekly series “Weekend Entrepreneur” developed exclusively for Queercents. Its purpose is to explore the success and trials experienced by LGBT community members as they build small enterprises in their free time away from day jobs: a topic that Paula recently covered in this post!
