Queercents introduces John Montesdeoca
“Our destiny changes with our thought; we shall become what we wish to become, do what we wish to do, when our habitual thought corresponds with our desire.” — Orison Swett Marden
There’s a new kid on the block! John Montesdeoca has joined Queercents as a contributing writer. By day, John is a corporate litigation paralegal for a mid-size law firm in downtown San Francisco but he’s on a quest to save money and open his own coffee shop. The pursuit of start-up capital is what awakened John to an unexpected passion in his life: finance.
A class on the fundamentals of finance opened John’s eyes to the error of his ways, and he became addicted to the language of money. He now spends less time reading trashy gossip columns, and more time on anything and everything having to do with personal finance.
John is younger than the rest of the Queercents team and offers a fresh, twenty-something perspective on money. His writings will show how he’s trying to strike a balance between fiscal responsibility and the typical pursuits of the MySpace generation. By the way, his MySpace link and expanded bio can be found here.
