Queercents introduces Roland Paquette
We’ve added a new writer to Queercents. Roland Paquette joins us from Orlando, Florida where he’s been one of our most frequent commenters over the last year. He is 51, has an Accounting degree and considers himself to be semi-retired. After selling off his shares of the family business at the age of 48, it took him all of 4 months before going ‘œhouse crazy’ so he went back to work.
Currently, he drives a motorcoach (not Greyhound, but in the same vein) and likes to say that he has ‘œDown Shifted’. He is often referred to as FrugalZen and what I’d call a true minimalist since he doesn’t own any of the following: Cell Phone (except an emergency one on his motorcycle). Cable TV, iPod, or what he’d consider to be the latest fashions (since he said he can always rent a Tux for those special occasions). He does own several fountain pens and wrote about they’re old money appeal recently in a guest post.
We look forward to his contributions and continued insight here at Queercents. Please welcome him.
Welcome Roland! I’ve always wondered what it was like to drive a motorcoach; the biggest thing I’ve ever driven has been a minivan.
Thank You!! As for driving a Motorcoach vs. a Minivan..instead of 4 or 5 pairs of eyes waiting to see if you make a mistake (like a wrong turn) you have 57…and they’re not related so you can’t tell them to just sit down and shut up and watch the movie.}:~D
