Queercents Rehash: Saving for College Graduation: A little bit on how I managed it….
Thanks for the link, Melissa.
Yesterday I read a piece on CNN that says that the beer industry is experiencing similar “problems” – evidently they aren’t “recession-proof” either. Consumers are trading down from crappy beer (Miller Lite) to even crappier beer (Milwaukee’s Best). http://money.cnn.com/2008/05/15/news/companies/miller_beer.ap/index.htm
I feel as bad for the mass-produced beer industry as I do for the industrial wedding machine.
Thanks for the link! Let’s face it, when it comes to health good for the body is always, always good for the wallet in the long term, even if not in the short term – that’s why new-agers like myself stick to the organic foods. And Heidi, I resent calling the Beast “crappier beer”. It is, by far, the crappiest. Unless you count PBR. God, I miss college. And yes, I just said you should eat organic food but also sent a shout-out to the Beast and PBR. Sue me. 🙂
Melissa: Once again, I love the Tegan and Sara moment of fun. I see why you’re always crushin on them… they’re bus tour is full of snark. Thanks for sharing.
Hey thanks, Melissa. Isn’t that how sisters are? 😉
