Queercents Weekly Roundup: Holiday Hangover
All right yall, it’s back to reality–whether that means opening your December credit card bill, preparing taxes, or just having to work the whole of next week. Instead of the hair of the dog (because that doesn’t work–when you’re in a hole, stop digging!) I bring you a few chill, sensible and uplifting articles from around the PF blogosphere. Let’s all get on a more even keel….
- In the mess of SMART goals for 2008, Meg decides to aim higher. (Read it at All Financial Matters) (How about advice from someone who did it?)
- I’m a big fan of writing reminders on the mirror with dry-erase markers–but maybe I just look at myself a lot. (Read it at Mapgirl’s Fiscal Challenge)
- It’s not all about the score. But, okay, it’s mostly about the score–a slightly different guide to credit. (Read it at Wise Bread)
- Candidate number one for my favorite article of the week: A Life Well-Lived (I’m just going to pretend I didn’t see the word “bling.” Oh, JD.) (Read it at Get Rich Slowly)
- My favorite of the week and perhaps ever: And did you do it with respect? (Read it at Wise Bread, seriously go read it)
