Queercents Weekly Roundup: The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow?
I’m fairly certain I have seen the sun twice in the past two weeks and as a result that song, sung atonally by my coworkers, has become a fixture in my life. With any luck, I will be reminded of what the sun looks like this weekend. Hopefully better weather finds you. Elizabeth, thanks for sharing the link to the writing tips. It’s pretty much the advice I’ve been getting in my writing class, but reinforcement is always a good thing. Fridays are my dedicated writing day where the only thing I work on is my novel. If I can squeeze it in during the rest of the week, that’s a bonus. But at least Fridays are sacrosanct and I know that I’ll get something done.
My former college professors followed the same strategy when writing their books. My work day is Sunday because its the only day I have off but that it’s much harder to dedicate a weekend day to writing, especially since I just want to recover from the previous six days.
