Weekend Entrepreneur: As Seen On TV
There is a whole website devoted to the tag line: As Seen On TV. It’s probably not the best website to check out when working to stay on a budget. I found it while reading about the new blog Michelle Anton, co-author of Weekend Entrepreneur: 101 Great Ways to Earn Extra Cash, recently began writing.
Entrepreneurs As Seen On TV. Overall the new blog provides a mix of stories about entrepreneurs on television and ideas or advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Five Businesses You Can Start On A Budget makes a great example:
- Child Care Services. See also Seven Reasons To Start a Daycare.
- Computer Repair. And see How to Become a Computer Consultant.
- Landscaping. Starting a Landscaping Business.
- Tutoring. Craigslist has a section dedicated to freelance tutoring.
- Direct Sales. According to Michelle an estimated 14million entrepreneurs have adopted this business model.
Another idea I came across is the Phone Answering Service. Craigslist seems to be a popular place to advertise the home-based phone answering service.
Any Queercents readers involved in or experienced starting up any of the businesses here?
I’ll have to check it out. I’m afraid that I haven’t come up with any unique work-from-home business ideas, but I’m trying all kinds of stuff. 🙂
Mrs. Micah. I think there is interest in hearing about weekend entrepreneurial experiences that aren’t so unique. Why reinvent the wheel. If there is a kind of opportunity out there that works well for one then others might also like to give it a shot.
