MJ Petroni is the owner of Causeit, Inc., a small business development firm integrating coaching, consulting and branding in a comprehensive approach to balance personal and business life. MJ has been interviewed by (and written for) various mainstream and LGBTQ publications, including The Oregonian, Just Out, Echelon Magazine, and also serves as a board member of the Portland Area Business Association, Portland, Oregon’s LGBTQ chamber of commerce.
As a young entrepreneur who owns three businesses, MJ emphasizes financial and business planning as a key part of empowering minorities. When not getting a good deal or helping out business owners, MJ often cycles, exercises a black belt in shopping, studies cyborg anthropology (technology’s interaction with humans) and dances to hiphop—full blast, in the car, with the windows down.
MJ’s next projects involve a move into larger office space, integration of online project and financial management tools, mergers with new companies and the process of planning a commitment ceremony with The Partner—all of which will be brought into the conversation here at Queercents!
