Queer money blog moves beyond the daily grind with first career series

Newport Beach, CA (April 6, 2007) ‘“ Queercents (http://www.queercents.com), a personal finance blog serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, today announced the launch of its weekly Career & Money series.

Written by Paula Gregorowicz, Career & Money will help the queer community gain clarity on who they are, what they want, and how to get there. Ms. Gregorowicz, a Certified Integrative Coach, empowers readers to live richer and more satisfying work lives by discovering their life’s work.

Each week, Career & Money covers such topics as:

  • How to decide if you want a career or a job? Planning life first!
  • What are your values? How much do you need and want to earn?
  • What kind of jobs are there? How can you earn money?
  • How to get a job (resumes, networking, resources, interviewing, negotiating)
  • Making the most of your job & money (asking for raises, staying current, capitalizing on benefits)
  • Starting your own business
  • Re-potting, re-inventing, re-visiting
  • Work & happiness
  • Considerations in planning for retirement

‘œAs far back as I can remember I always felt like there had to be more to life than going through the motions, satisfying obligations, and working hard doing what you’re supposed to do. I always thought the answers were out there somewhere and that if I looked hard enough someday I might get lucky and find them. What I really learned is that the true answers lie inside,’ explained Ms. Gregorowicz, who also authors the popular Coaching4Lesbians blog.
