Both websites have a couple of options for referring friends like a link that can be added into an email, and buttons that can be added into personal websites. Ebates also has the option of posting a link directly to your Facebook page while BeFrugal.com has the option of posting a link directly to your Facebook page or your Twitter account. Whenever someone clicks on one of these links and signs up for Ebates.com or BeFrugal.com the link is tracked and a reward is credited to your account.

On Ebates.com, for every person that signs up $5 is credited to your account. Ebates.com also offers prizes like an extra $100 gift card for the first 10 people who sign up, or a $250 gift card if 25 people sign up. If you refer 50, you can earn $500 or even an iPad2!
